IPA Members Run To Help Families of St. Jude

By Chris Janssen posted 08-10-2016 11:20

IPA members joined many others from throughout the state to join in the run to Peoria to raise funds for the families of St. Jude. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital helps children that are undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The families are never charged for services as costs are offset by insurance and contributions such as those raised through the running events. On July 30, 2106 three IPA members joined the run from Macomb to Peoria again this year. Chris Janssen, Spoon River Valley Jr/Sr High, Lori Bilbry, ROE #26 and Zac Chatterton, Dunlap Middle School made the run from Macomb to Peoria to help raise funds for the cause. Janssen has participated in the relay style run for 7 years now while Chatterton and Bilbry have participated for 16 years.
