The Illinois Principals Association is dedicated to providing educators with the resources they need to make a difference.

Below is a list of Common Core State Standards resources gathered from IPA presenters and experts in the field. Please add to this list by commenting on the blog post with additional common core resources.

ISBE Online Learning Progression Tool

  • An easy way to build CCSS rubrics to prompt, assess, and share Common Core feedback with students

  • PARCC is a 24-state consortium working together to develop next-generation K-12 assessments in English and math.

  • Utah Education Network – resources to help transition to the core standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics.

  • The Mathematics Common Core Coalition works to provide expertise and advice on issues related to the effective implementation of the Common Core State Standards for School Mathematics (CCSSM).
  • Ed Week article with various links to common core resources created by multiple states.
  • StandardsInsight is a web-based application that “unpacks” the Common Core State Standards, allowing districts to quickly and easily align curricula with them.
